DESCRIPTION:Fishing Derby: Fun\, Prizes\, and a Meal to Take Home\nTrophy size fish caught by all ages!  \nFishing Derby Event details for Saturday April 15th\n\nDerby is run between 8 AM-1 PM\nPrizes announced at 12N\nAdults – $5 fee\, kids – free\nBreakfast and lunch available for nominal fee.  Breakfast sandwiches\, hotdogs\, burgers\, soft drinks\nOne rod per person max ; 3 fish per person max ; no MA fishing license required\nGiven the expected number of people\, suggested style of fishing is bait and spin-casting; elbow room for fly-fishing is unlikely\nWhat you catch\, you keep ; no catch and release ; know your trout species\, see the picture below\n Be familiar with Norco Pond rules\, especially for baits not allowed\n\n\nIf parking is full around the pond/rifle&pistol range \, parking at the trap& skeet range or at the club-house….be prepared to walk and carry your gear and catch\nBring a small cooler of ice for your catch to take it home fresh and ready for the frying pan\nOnce the derby is over\, everyone may continue to fish for the rest of the day — given you have not reached your 3 fish maximum catch for the day\nFishing is open to members only after April 15th\, adhering to a 3 max catch per person per day and the pond rules for no catch and release\, certain baits not to use\n\n \n
