The Youth Pheasant program culminated in a successful hunt on September 21. See photos. Thanks for the Youth Pheasant program volunteers who trained hunters at the trap range in August and September, and ran the education session in mid-September, and conducted the mentor-led field hunt and field-dressing. Volunteers included Ken Stidsen, Kelly Dalbec, Chris Giglio, Duffy Lanciani, Jim Valley, Paul Whalen, Fred Gehring, Chris Norcross, Mark Laverdure, Rocky Trotto, Paul Zgurzynski, Kevin Newell, Mark Malkowski, Bob Hager, Charlie Oberg, and a few others. Several youth hunters plan to take the taxidermy class later this year and already have their pheasant for class. We welcome our youth hunters back for the regular hunting season in October.
