The Nashua Valley Council Shooting Sports Committee in conjunction with Harvard Crew 250 will be hosting two USA Archery Instructor Certification Courses. If you are interested in taking either of the courses please contact NVCSSC Training Chair Tim Bradbury at firstname.lastname@example.org . Registration deadlines are usually 4 weeks ahead of the start of each course but vary by number of participants and Instructors. The courses usually fill early so if you are interested in one of the courses don’t wait to sign up. Course fee is for the course only and does not cover certification fees and processing fees of national organizations. Courses are held at Harvard Sportsmen’s Club at 250 Littleton County Road Harvard, MA
USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Course: Saturday November 11, 2017 8 am to 6 pm. Cost is $75
USA Archery Level 2 Instructor Course: Saturday and Sunday November 11 and 12 2017 8 am to 6 pm. Cost is $150

The Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification
The Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course provides the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range. Level 1 Instructors are prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities. The Level 1 Instructor will learn about range safety, range setup, the steps of shooting, and basic equipment and repair. Minimum Age is 15 and certification is good for 3 years
The Level 2 Archery Instructor Certification
A Level 2 Instructor works with a more established archery program such as J.O.A.D., A.S.A.P., college clubs and local clubs with a strong beginner component. Level 2 Instructors are also certified to teach Level 1 courses. Current Level 2 Instructors with a successful background screen are eligible for insurance benefits. Certification is good for 3 years.
