Norco continued its education traditions and hosted MA Youth Pheasant Hunting Program. We wish the hunters good luck on October 6th. Several pictures from our training session are featured this month including seeing live pheasants, holding one, field dressing one, learning the safe techniques to walk a field with other hunters and a dog. We thank the many adult volunteers who make this program happen each year, led by Ken Stidsen. Students spent Tuesday evenings in August and September at the trap range learning safe firearm handling and how to track/bag a moving clay target.
