The Norco Pheasant Hunting season wound down on November 24th. Despite a few rainy weekends and ground snow, hunters fared well filling their game bags. Norco thanks the Pheasant Breakfast Club for the hearty starts each Saturday and the volunteers who prepared lunches. Breakfast Volunteers included Mark Malkowski, AJ Springfield, Adam Charest, Bob M’Sadoques, Britta Carlson, Barbara Adams, and Joe Picariello. Lunches were provided by Lisa Trotto (x2), Bill Whiting, and Fred Ghering. Special thanks to Paul Whalen for picking up the pheasants every week and Bill Whiting and Jim Valley and others for setting them afield. The upcoming Norco youth pheasant taxidermy class is thankful for a few extra pheasants hunters bagged and donated for students who were not lucky this year to bag one. The program is doubled in size, holding 2 group sessions for 17 students starting in December and concluding in February.
