Norco Sportsman’s Club had a very successful trout fishing derby. Thank you to all youths, parents that drove them, and club members that helped put together this wonderful event. Every kid received a prize. Many caught trout throughout the moring, youth and adults alike. Behind the scenes there are many volnteers including Jay J. for organizing the event (taking over from Charlie) , Kevin, Bill and Matt for cooking breakfast and lunch, Tom M for derby tracking and prizes, Alex for the fish prep and cleaning, along with volunteers Ed, Kevin, and Cody. Thanks to Chris and his friends at Cabelas for providing a lot of prizes for everyone….and many prizes will be available for the next trout derby in May. Fishing is open every day for members, with a daily creel limit of 3. Be careful to not get tangled up in the fish pond aerator power cord.
