This year’s fair-weather youth pheasant hunting day had youth hunters along with their mentors and field dogs turn out for an educational and productive day.
Several of the youth hunters have opted to take their season’s first bird into the Norco pheasant taxidermy class to be held later this year. Everyone bagged birds — a testament to the trap range practice sessions in prior weeks.
