Staying Sane During COVID-19

After sanitizing the clubhouse mens room for the weekend…..took some time to dip a line and landed 2 rainbows for dinner.

After maxing out my daily catch of two, took a small walk around the swamp to observe wood ducks and blue herons. Observed 5 active nests, 4 clustered between 2 trees. Also observed a dead heron, a casualty of a mother heron protecting its nest those not invited in.

With my dogs on the short walk, a beaver did not like our presence and swam in large ovals slapping its powerful tail. The sound is similar to a large size rock being thrown into the water. Follow this URL to the video clip – https://bit.ly/2JI7DbL

Deer ticks are out in force. However, no black flies or gnats to harass the eyes, ears, or nose.
